Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born on March 4th, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress as well as a comedian and writer. O'Hara has won numerous prizes, including the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) as well as two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was appointed to the rank of an Officer of Canada. She was also awarded the Governor General’s Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara was a renowned actress as a member in 1974 of The Second City, an comedy troupe that was based in Toronto. She was a part of the principal ensemble cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara began working with Candy on Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara was praised for her stand-up and writing abilities, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara was part of the newly formed Second City artistic Advisory Board that was headed by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board were Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key.
